About Stitch Haven

Stitch Haven focuses on suit and formalwear alterations for business professionals, wedding guests, and formal event customers in Medan.

Formalwear alterations with careful fitting

Every garment begins with an inspection of its construction, fabric, and fit needs before any quote is discussed. That first review helps set a realistic alteration plan based on the garment itself.

Our process is built around clear fitting steps, written scope, and approval before additional work. We aim to preserve original design details where possible while adjusting the fit to the garment's structure.

01

Started with formalwear fitting work

Stitch Haven was founded in 2017 by Rahmat Hidayat to serve customers who need formal garments adjusted with care and precision. The studio works on pieces that call for a thoughtful approach to structure, balance, and wearability.

02

Clear scope before tailoring begins

Appointments begin with a review of the garment's seams, fabric condition, and fitting limitations. After that, the alteration scope and quote are confirmed before approved tailoring moves ahead.

03

Final checks before collection

At collection, the garment is checked again and any small final adjustment is handled within the agreed design. Care notes are then shared so the finished piece can be worn and stored properly.

What we value

Why customers bring formalwear here

Our work is guided by clear communication, careful garment review, and a fitting process that respects the original construction.

Measured assessment

We start with a real garment inspection, not assumptions. That helps us set a fair scope based on construction, fabric, and the fit goals you bring to the studio.

Sc

Clear scope

Your alteration plan is explained before work begins, and additional changes are only made after approval. This keeps the process clear from first fitting to final handover.

De

Material matching

When available, we match original thread and trim to keep the garment looking consistent. If exact materials are not available, we discuss the options before proceeding.

Ca

Careful finishing

We aim to preserve original design details where possible and review the garment again before collection. Every step is handled with attention to the piece's structure and wear.
